Former winegrower's house entirely renovated. Surface area : more than 80 m2 on two floors:

On the ground floor:

French style ceiling (oak beams and joists)

Open plan living space and kitchen. Washing machine, tiled floor.

Small sofa bed for one or possibly two. Television.
Wood burning stove with stone surround (Tulikivi)

On the first floor:

A large bedroom with double and single beds. Light beech parquet flooring front of windows

Tiled bathroom with shower
Separate toilet
Garden and terrace adjoining




The Jean Dampt Apartment *

Situated on the first floor of an old house built on the edge of the village. benefitting from a panoramic view across the green valley of the Ozerain, and a small river which runs peacefully into the Seine.

Our art gallery, the Blue Unicorn (La Licorne Bleu) is situated on the ground floor.
We live in the adjacent house.
The floor space of the apartment is 56 m2. It is light, clean, comfortable and quiet with white walls and parquet flooring. South-East facing, enabling a view of the morning sun rise.

Flavigny is a medieval village rated one of the most beautiful villages in France, rising up from a promontory in the Auxois countryside 60 km north of Dijon and 255km from Paris. Despite this, it is not invaded by hordes of tourists and maintains its peace and quiet. See Maps IGN 108 and Michelin 65.


These gites are most suitable for people who enjoy the beauty of the countryside, the charm of old villages, the silence and historic architecture.

Animals, even trusted pets, are not admitted.


Access : How to find us ? By road or motorway : A6, come off at Bierre-Les-Semur, (between Avallon and Pouilly-en-Auxois), about 3 hours from Paris.
* By rail : Leave the train at Les Laumes-Alesia or Montbard if you are taking the TGV from Paris. Via the countryside (not tarmaced roads)  : follow the road which descends from the Morvan « Bibracte-Alesia », 112 km ?unless you would prefer to come from Alise Sainte-Rein : 4 km
